  • Snail Mail BETA Testing

    • WARNING

    You must not have 2 versions of Snail Mail available to your system at any time, as the wrong version my be found by the system (particularly when using the plugin) and would then fail. Make sure that your existing version(s) is appropriately archived (eg, using the Finder's built in ZIP archiving, or Aladdin's DropStuff), and then delete all instances of Snail Mail from your system except for the one you want the system to use (in this case, the latest beta version).

    NB: Moving Snail Mail to the trash is unfortunately not enough. Although the Finder will not launch applications that are in the Trash, the underlying operating system and other applications will, so the Trash must be emptied to delete the files completely.

    You can later delete the beta version and unarchive your production instance of Snail Mail if necessary if you wish to return to using a non-beta version (or you can re-download from the WWW).
