Web Sites Compatible with Intelligent Import

Eat It can import recipes from any web page, but for web pages that include https://schema.org/Recipe metadata as either JSON-LD or as Microdata, Eat It will intelligently parse components into their respective Eat It fields making the import quick, easy and accurate.

Importing from other less-compatible web sites still works.  However, some manual editing after import is more likely, and the amount of editing required will vary depending on the content of the web site, and how accurately it could be imported.

Instructions for how to import recipes from web sites can be found in the User Guide on the page,  Add Recipes, under the heading, Import From Web Page.

A list of some web sites which are known to work well with Eat It’s recipe import feature is below.  This is not an exhaustive list, but just a few examples.
